Visit the Government Palace, Main Square (Plaza de Armas), Santa Lucía Hill, Metropolitan Park, and the exclusive residential areas of Vitacura and Las Condes.

Breakfast in your hotel. Enjoy a full-day excursion to Chile’s Pacific coast, exploring the historic, colorful port city of Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Continue to the sophisticated coastal beaches of Viña del Mar, also known as the “Garden City” for its beautiful flower gardens. Lunch is not included. Return to Santiago in the late afternoon.

Upon arrival at Mataveri Airport, meet and greet and transfer to your hotel.

Enjoy continental breakfast, then a full-day guided excursion to Anakena, visiting the archaeological center of Akahanga and the Rano Raraku quarry, where the island’s Moai were sculpted. See the more than 300 Moai in different stages of completion.

Continue to Ahu Tongariki, Te Pito Kura and Ahu Nau Nau, then enjoy a picnic lunch at Anakena Beach with its clear emerald-green waters.

After continental breakfast, tour Rano Kau volcano(1.6 km in diameter) and the ceremonial village of Orongo, known for its concentration of petroglyphs depicting Tangata Manu (the Birdman), Make Make, Komari and Vinapu.

Continue sightseeing at Ahu Akivi, home to seven Moai overlooking the sea, and the caves of Ana Tepahu. Visit the Puna Pau quarries on the slopes of a volcano, where the reddish topknots were sculpted.

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Puerto Montt(approximately 1 hour 40 minutes; daily flights are noted in the itinerary).

Breakfast. Depart along the shore of Llanquihue Lake, with views of Osorno Volcano on the horizon, in the direction of Petrohué (approximately 76 km / 2 hours by bus, as stated in the itinerary).

Board a boat to sail across Todos los Santos Lake, also known as Emerald Lake, toward Peulla (approximately 20 miles / 1 hour 40 minutes). Arrival in Peulla is around 1:00 p.m.

Lunch is not included. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and lodging.

Breakfast. Depart by bus to Puerto Frías(approximately 27 km / 2 hours). Board the ferry to cross Frías Lake to Puerto Alegre (approximately 4 miles / 20 minutes).

Continue by bus to Puerto Blest (approximately 3 km / 15 minutes), then board a catamaran across Lake Nahuel Huapi toward Puerto Pañuelo (approximately 15 miles / 1 hour 5 minutes). From Puerto Pañuelo, transfer by bus to your hotel in Bariloche(approximately 25 km / 30 minutes).

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires.

Breakfast. Enjoy a comprehensive city tour of Buenos Aires, with its narrow streets, wide tree-lined boulevards, turn-of-the-century architecture, sidewalk cafés, elegant shops and lively nightlife.

Visit Avenue 9 de Julio, the Colón Theatre, the famous Obelisk, the Government District and Legislative Palace, Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada. Continue to the Cathedral, the colorful Italian-inspired La Boca district and outdoor art displays, then pass the port, Palermo and Recoleta.

Optional dinner and tango tour.

Breakfast. Free day to shop along Florida and Santa Fe Avenues. Leather and suede goods and Argentine handicrafts are noted in the itinerary.

Optional Fiesta Gaucha: leave Buenos Aires for the countryside to enjoy traditional music, dancing and an Argentine barbecue. After lunch, watch Argentine gauchos demonstrate their horsemanship.
